1. What in Willow do you think will surprise or delight your readers?

I think the character of Willow is a delight all together.

My hope is that the message of Willow will inspire people to be good to one another and that it they will feel joy and be left with an inward sense of happiness when they read it.

2. Do you have a favorite line or quote in Willow?

My favorite line is "Could they think I'm sad not having fruit to pick or see? Look closer now, there's fruit inside. It grows in you and me." Though this line is toward the end of the book, it's the overall theme of the story.

3. What are you most proud of about your book?

I'm proud that my story was inspired by the biblical fruit of the spirit and the greatest of these being love. Love is universal and in much need of spreading these days. I am also extremely proud of the job my illustrator did to make my story come to life. She did an amazing job and I'm looking forward to working with her again on the sequel to Willow, which is in the works right now. It will be called . . . Willow's New Friend.

4. Any exciting events coming up you'd like to share?

In the short time that my book has been available, I've had the privilege to read it to several kindergarten, 1st & 2nd grade classes, as well as at my town library for a pajama and popcorn party. I even wore my jammies and my bunny slippers. It was so much fun. I have several dates still this month where I will be set up at local book stores and the coffee shop, to promote, sell and sign my book.

5.Where can buyers buy your book?

Willow can be purchased on my website: thewillowseries.com

$1 from each book sold will be donated as a charitable contribution, which will change quarterly. Please visit my website to see how your purchase of Willow is helping others.
